Cops nab two men in credit card fraud ring
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Two men were arrested on Thursday during simultaneous MOCA operations in sections of the Corporate Area, St Catherine and Clarendon.
According to a news release from the Major Organised Crime and Anti Corruption Agency (MOCA), the operations, which started about 5:00 am, is the culmination of a “complex investigation” into suspected cases of forgery, which began several months ago.
“These men are suspected to be key players in a credit card fraud ring that fleeced several students of a prominent university of millions of dollars,” the MOCA release said.
The men will be questioned in the presence of their attorneys in relation to the allegations, the release continued.
The agency did not release the names of the men.
