Phillips, described as a superstar in the making, was remembered as “a baby of music”, one whose only wish was to sing.
Cousin Chad Phillips, with whom the singjay grew up, asked those gathered not to forget her but to remember the vibrant energetic person she was.
Singers Cherine Anderson, Alaine and saxophonist Dean Frazer were among those who paid musical tribute to the singjay.
Phillips died on December 4, following a tragic car crash November 23 in the Barbican area of St Andrew.
The dancehall singjay was 23 years old.
