VIDEO: Support, scepticism greet Lady Saw’s baptism

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Deejay Lady Saw, who was baptised late Monday, faced some criticism after she declared her desire to become a servant of the Lord on social media site Instagram.Read: Lady Saw now a ‘servant of the Lord’Read: Lady Saw baptised

A few hours after making her Instagram post, she was baptised in a private service at Emmanuel Apostolic Church on Slipe Road in Kingston.

Though there were a few online readers who could not resist commenting with disdain, describing her act as a publicity stunt, for Lady Saw — whose given name is Marion Hall — most of the online readers are in her corner. Some even came out in her defence.
