Watch out for Busy Signal at We Are Reggae
DANCEHALL deejay Busy Signal will be the headline act for We Are Reggae unplugged series scheduled for The Beach Bar at Doctor’s Cave Beach in Montego Bay, St James, on December 26.

“We wanted to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to our loyal We Are Reggae fans, supportive sponsors, and the people of Montego Bay and Jamaica. What better way to do so than a massive party with the dancehall superstar Busy Signal on Boxing Day?” said promoter Peter Lloyd, part of Apostles of Production which also includes Patrick Casserly and Orlando Maxwell.
The St Ann-born Busy Signal got his big break in 2005 with Step Out. He followed up with a slew of other hits including
These Are the Days, Wine Pon Di Edge,Nah Go a Jail Again, andUnknown Number. In 2012, he appeared on Major Lazer’sFree the Universe album with the monster hit singleWatch Out For This (BUMAYE).
Also on the show is opening act Reggae Fusion Queen Stephanie. She released her sophomore album
Catharsis in June. The set is a fusion of genres heavily spiced with and rooted in regggae.
