2015 Entertainment REWIND: Saw’s swan song
HARDCORE dancehall deejay Lady Saw is now walking the straight and narrow path.
The 43-year-old said the decision was made while at J Capri’s funeral held at the University Chapel, Mona campus, on December 14.
“God spoke to me. He did so at J Capri’s service and finish it off in my house. I’m now a servant of the Lord. All my dancehall shows will be cancelled ’cause God has call me to work for him now,” she said.
Later that evening, Lady Saw got baptised by Bishop Everton Thomas at the Emmanuel Apostolic Church on Slipe Road in Kingston.
“God has chosen me as a new servant. I will be ministering on his behalf… I am ready,” she added.
