Fourth day washed out at the SCG
SYDNEY, Australia (CMC) — Rain washed out the fourth’s day play of the third and final Test yesterday, as bad weather continued to wreck the encounter at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
No play was possible on Tuesday’s third day also because of rain, while only 11.2 overs were possible on the second day.
More showers have been forecast for the final day.
West Indies reached 248 for seven after opting to bat first, with opener Kraigg Brathwaite top-scoring with 85 and all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite getting 69.
