When you manage to keep the fact that you’ve been married for a year as a well known rapper in the music industry, you’re basically a genius.

We got some jaw dropping news that rapper J. Cole is married and has been for a year… yes one whole year, and we didn’t know!

The rapper heartthrob has been married to longtime girlfriend Melissa Heholt. J Cole,  along with his uncanny ability to spit amazing lyrics is notoriously know for keeping his private life under the radar, however Creed director Ryan Coogler spiled the beans for the rapper during a MLKNow event in honor of Martin Luther King Day in Harlem New York on January 18. Unaware that Cole was keeping the big news under wraps Coogler asked “So how did getting married change you?”

A flustered and very surprised Cole replied with, “What is thaaat!! That was like one thing not to do. But it’s all good.. They know now” after Coogler apologized for the fact that he has never interviewed anyone. Anyway I guess the means J.Cole is officially off the market ladies, but we’re happy for him either way.
