Mr Easy brings back vibes
Dancehall singjay Mr Easy is hoping the video for Bashment Gal will help boost the single.
The single, released two weeks ago, is the first from his upcoming EwP titled The Don.
“You know what I’ve realised on my journey that this music has taken me on, there is a whole world of people ranging between the ages of 25 to 55 who want to hear and feel the ’90s type of dancehall. When I question them on what they mean, they simply answer ‘the beat’, and that feel-good vibe that made you want to dance’, and that is exactly what I am bringing back with this project,” he told Jamaica Observer.
The video for Bashment Gal was shot in Kingston and directed by Jay Will.
Mr Easy is known for his smash 2001 hit Drive Me Crazy.
