PCL Update: Lewis’ century guides Red Force to 8-wicket win over Scorpions
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Evin Lewis stroked a century as Trinidad & Tobago Red Force cruised to an eight-wicket win over Jamaica Scorpions this morning in the WICB Professional Cricket League game at Sabina Park.
The 24-year-old Lewis, who was 66 not out when the Red Force resumed from their overnight score of 113-1, showed composure in making 104. The left-hand opener, also the top-scorer in the first innings with 87, was registering his maiden first-class hundred.
The Red Force off-spinner Jon-Russ Jaggesar was also a standout performer for the visitors, hauling in 11 wickets in the match.
Scores: Scorpions 225 & 155; Red Force 206 & 178-2.
