Gibson/McCook Relays: Calabar advance to 4x100m finals
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Class two favourites Calabar High comfortably advanved to the finals of the boys 4x100m relay open with an easy 41.35-second clocking at the Gibson/McCook Relays now under way at the National Stadium.
The team of Tyreke Wilson, Christopher Taylor, Michael Stephens, and Dejour Russell made light work of the field in heat one and seemed well set to dip below the meet record of 40.65 seconds later this evening.
Jamaica College, who clocked 42.23 seconds to win heat five, and Kingston College, who won heat six in 42.64 seconds, are expected to be the main contenders in the final.
