Ettenio CEO and Creative Director Antoinette Davis shares steps to softer skin using Ettenio beauty products. Davis recommends a mini facial be done twice per week in addition to the daily (cleanse, tone, moisturise) routine. She started by testing the skin to gauge the oil levels and texture. See the process below:
THE ETTENIO MINI FACIAL TREATMTENT FOR COMBINATION TO OILY SKIN
– Cleanse with the Ettenio deep pore cleansing cream.
– Tone with the green tea and cucumber toning mix to remove excess cleanser and alleviate breakouts.
– Apply the pineapple papaya facial scrub.
– Tone a second time to remove dead skin cells and build-up from the scrub.
– Apply the purifying facial mud mask with dead sea mud, activated charcoals and tamnau seed oil.
– Tone a third and final time. Toning is important to restore the skin’s natural pH balance, and unclog the pores after each step.
– Finally, moisturise.

5. Apply eyeshadow (Beaufort used purple and gold shades from the BH Hollywood California Makeup Palette, and the Naked by Urban Decay earthy tones set).
6. Apply blush and bronzer for glow.
7. Smear on lipstick to make the lips the centre of attention.

Spa Buzz…
Adam & Eve Day Spa has a new brand ambassador, local singer/songwriter Denyque Welds. Welds will share duties with Cortia Bingham, who has held the position since her appointment in 2014. Welds and Bingham signed on the dotted line February 17, 2016 at the spa’s Tobago Avenue location by the spa’s managing director Kimisha Walker, who had this to say, “We are super excited to have both Cortia and Denyque representing our brand. Both exude beauty and a passion for life, are great examples of females supporting each other and women breaking out on their own and making significant contributions and impact on the tourism, entertainment, corporate, and wellness sectors in Jamaica.” She continued, “…combined, we epitomise strength, intelligence, growth, creativeness, and passion through the journeys we have taken to get us to where we are today”. In addition, there are special features now offered at Adam & Eve Day Spa, including the Rainforest Wet Room – conceptualised by directors Garth and Kimisha Walker – which allows clients to enjoy a combination of water and massage therapies which give the feeling of a waterfall cascading on your body as you are massaged; private suites to enjoy treatments in a more personalised setting; and the Adam & Eve Day Spa signature Hanakasumi manicure and pedicure.
Adam & Eve Day Spa is located at 20 Tobago Avenue in New Kingston. For additional information or services, visit www.adamandevedayspaja.com or call 754-6018.
