Suspects in Norwood triple murder still behind bars
ST JAMES, Jamaica – The two suspects taken into custody for questioning in connection with Wednesday’s triple murder in Norwood, St James, remain behind bars up to this morning.
The individuals were taken into custody on Thursday after three men were shot dead at a cook shop.
Dead are 21-year-old cook shop operator Tyrone Hines, also called Jawbone; Michael Holder, 21, otherwise called Two Chain; and selector Glaeisel Rutherford, 29, also called DJ Davil, all of Paradise, Norwood.
According to head of the St James Police Division Senior Superintendent Steve McGregor, the dispute was triggered by an incident involving Hines and a female customer, after water was accidentally spilled on her cellular phone.
