BACCHANAL Queen, Destra Garcia and Farmer Nappy will be the headliners for Saturday’s Beach J’Ouvert at James Bond Beach in Oracabessa, St Mary.

“We got into high gear with Bunji [Garlin] and Fay-Ann [Lyons] at the final Bacchanal Fridays and we expect to keep the excitement high with not only the star-studded entertainment but all the activities on the ground. We know our sponsors are planning to bring their best to showcase their products and to generally add to the vibes of Beach J’Ouvert. This party is all about letting go, so we recommend that our revellers come prepared to get wet, prepared for paint and prepared to have a fantastic time,” said Michael McMorris, a director of Bacchanal Jamaica — event organiser.

Soca DJs Smoke, Richie Ras and Nuphoric will keep the heat at boiling point from the minute the gates open until it is time to get ready to go home.

A Jamaican crowd favourite, Destra last performed in Jamaica last April. She is known for hits including Lucy, I Dare You and Bacchanal.

Farmer Nappy’s catalogue includes Big People Party, House of Soca, and Rental.
