Best Product for 2016 Nominee: Grace Cock Powdered Seasoning Blend

[naviga:iframe width=”504″ height=”332″ src=”www.youtube.com/embed/5j4muosQOV0″ frameborder=”0″ allowfullscreen=””][/naviga:iframe]

Grace started producing Cock Powdered Seasoning Blend because… We identified an opportunity to provide greater convenience for our consumers who have traditionally used our Grace Cock Soup as a seasoning for their meats and other meals. We decided to take the work out of the process by creating a powdered seasoning blend to remove the need to sieve the noodles from the soup but still deliver the same great taste. We took it a step further and created All Purpose, Curry and Ginger AllSpice Garlic based on consumer feedback about what was needed in the market.

This product became available to the public when…Grace Powdered Seasonings Blends were launched in November 2015. Each packet seasons up to two pounds of meat.

The response has been…Great! We’ve had rave reviews of all the flavours.

_ _

Our core customers are… middle to lower-income earners as well as single professionals who are seeking to prepare tasty and cost-effective meals at home.

Our first breakthrough came when…we mastered the blend that would make it possible to perfectly season your dish without you having to sieve noodles. We conducted taste tests, listened to the feedback from our sensory exercises and knew we had a winning product.

Jamaicans should support our products because…We’re local and we need to support brand Jamaica! Our seasoning blends are manufactured at our factory – NALPRO, in Temple Hall.

Our product is unique because… of its exceptional flavour especially our Cock Flavoured Seasoning blend which many have tried to reproduce, but no one has come close.

If we knew then what we know now …this would be another category that we’d be dominating. We are well on our way though.__
