23-y-o dies after car crashes in tree
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – Twenty-three-year-old Lamar Dukie of Aires Avenue in Smokeyvale, St Andrew died as a result of injuries he received in a fatal motor vehicle collision on the Braco main road in Trelawny on Monday.
Reports from the Rio Bueno Police are that about 8:20 pm, Dukie was one of two passengers in a Toyota Isis motorcar when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and collided into a tree. The occupants of the vehicle were taken to hospital where Dukie was pronounced dead. The driver was admitted in stable condition while a police officer, who was also a passenger, was treated and released.
Investigations continue.
