ONLINE READERS COMMENT: Why are Comrades pointing a finger at Paul Burke?
Dear Editor
It is now absurd and disappointing to think that Comrades would come back in short order to point fingers at who caused the loss of the last general election.
If one is working for a company, and the secretary pens a letter, it is the owner or the CEO that is responsible for any discrepancy that might be in that letter, not the secretary.
Therefore, how is it that Paul Burke is now the face of the PNP? He is the General Secretary. No decision can be made without the backing of the author of the letter. Did Paul Burke run for any seat?
Did anyone vote for or against him in the general election?
Why is even his position under scrutiny when he is not a direct representative of the people?
Why aren’t the other people who lost their seat asked to resign?
Why do the Comrades continue to be so short sighted?
Where, or who is the public relation office for the party?
What exactly is the role of a general secretary?
Why continue to air your dirty laundry for the entire Jamaica to see?
What is the purpose of this blaming game?
Where are the diplomacy and the professionalism?
Why are employees overstepping their job description? Certain decisions and action are the responsibility of the leader, not the charges. This goes to show who is for ready for leadership ready and who aren’t. There is no respect for authority and ‘headship’. PNP check yourself before you wreck yourself.
