Tortuga Rum Cakes wins 12th Porthole Cruise Award
Tortuga Rum Cakes has won its 12th Editor-in-Chief’s Best Cruise Souvenir Award from the Porthole Cruise Magazine, which has an overall readership of more than 115,000 for both print and digital.
The award is given in “honour of those in the cruise and travel industry who the magazine believes have gone above and beyond expected service, quality and excellence.”
The Tortuga Rum Cakes latest Award was announced in the March/April issue of the magazine, which is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary.
“No other brand has won an Editor-in-Chief Award for Best Cruise Souvenir more often than Tortuga Rum Cakes. There is no other product of its kind that is spoken about with such admiration and satisfaction by readers of the magazine and cruise passengers as Tortuga Rum Cakes. In fact, most times you can see passengers in the ports and on the ships walking away from the souvenir shops with the ever-popular, recognisable rum cakes. To them, this is the most delicious way to remember their Caribbean cruise,” said Bill Panoff, editor in chief,
Porthole Cruise Magazine.
Tortuga Rum Cakes are sold in gift shops on-board more than 100 cruise liners sailing the Caribbean seas, and for the first time Princess Cruise Lines have added Tortuga Rum Cakes to their European voyages.
“We are pleased that cruise passengers continue to support our brand across the world,” said Marcus Simmonds, CEO of Tortuga International Holdings.
