Coca Cola bottles now have song lyrics
Coca-Cola has rolled out their Share a Coke and a Song efforts – an extension on the previous Share a Coke project where names were printed on Coke labels and cans.
The campaign was kicked off on April 18 and Coke cans and bottles will now feature song titles and key lyrics from a myriad of hit makers and pop anthems.
Look for lines from Taylor Swift’s breakout hit
You Belong With Me or lines from Charlie Puth’s
One Call Away.
Country fans can look out for Jimmy Costner lyrics as the company’s execs were moved by his story. As a TEEN the singer-songwriter was homeless when a kind elderly woman struck a deal with him: he would mow her lawn in exchange for $20 USD and some Coke. He eventually moved in with her and her family and then he made it big. Cute, huh? Coca-Cola certainly thinks so.
There are approximately 70 songs included in the campaign; keep your eyes open and maybe you’ll start seeing some familiar lyrics in a corner shop or supermarket soon.
