Watchman killed at popular car wash in Mandeville
MANCHESTER, Jamaica – The Manchester police are confirming that the body of a watchman was found at about 6:00 am on Monday with what appeared to be two gunshot wounds at a popular car wash on North Race Course Road in Mandeville.
Police say the body was found lying beside a chair. The name of the victim, who is believed to be in his 50s, is being withheld pending confirmation.
Reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that the victim was employed at the car wash about two weeks ago.
Police say residents reported hearing explosions about 3:00 am, but the police were only informed three hours later.
