Hyundai to fuel UEFA EURO 2016
Yesterday Hyundai Motor handed over the keys of vehicles that will help transport key figures, officials and VIPs around France at UEFA EURO 2016™. The vehicles were presented at an official vehicle handover ceremony at the St Denis, Paris, as part of Hyundai Motor’s agreement to provide official vehicles for the smooth running of the 2016 UEFA European Championship from June 10 to July 10, 2016.
As an official partner of the international football competition, due to be watched by millions of football fans around the world, Hyundai Motor will assist match delegates, UEFA staff, referees, media, security officers and VIP guests throughout the 2016 UEFA European Championship. Among the 361 Hyundai vehicles provided for the tournament this year, the official fleet includes flagship Hyundai models Genesis, Santa Fe, Tucson and i20. Hyundai Motor will also be in charge of branding 12 national team buses as they transport players between stadia.
The UEFA EURO 2016™ official vehicle handover ceremony at St. Denis, Paris — France’s national stadium and eventual venue for the 2016 UEFA European Championship Final on July 10 — was held under the presence of Hyundai Motor Europe President Hyung Cheong Kim; Hyundai Motor France President Kyoo Bok Lee; UEFA Events SA Marketing Director Guy-Laurent Epstein; former EURO champion Ruud Gullit from the Netherlands, as well as other important guests.

From years 2014 to 2016, Hyundai Motor has provided a total of 428 vehicles for the EUFA European Football Championship.
