Trouble in the Chronixx and Zinc Fence camp?
An Instagram post from the account generally used by founding member of recording studio Zinc Fence Records,Romaine ‘Teflon’ Arnett, has hinted at a rift between the production house and reggae artiste Chronixx.
The post showed a picture Chronixx, Zinc Fence’s most popular collaborator and ‘Teflon’ with the caption “Me and a this #WasteMan will Neva Make music Again !!!! don’t associate me with this #WasteMan”.
Chronixx and ‘Teflon’ have been associated since the two were in high school and ‘Teflon’ is often credited as the one who pushed Chronixx to become a full-fledged artiste rather than merely writing for others. A top producer is his own right, Teflon and Zinc Fence records are also regular shoutouts on Chronixx tracks. The two founded Zinc Fence along with Ricardo ‘Shaydz’ Lynch in 2010 and first struck big with smash hit Behind Curtain in 2012.
