Tanso JOP hunts the money
Deejay Tanso JOP is promoting his new single Hunt The Money, produced by Darshan Records.
“The song is about life dreams, being able to live happy and take care of family and friends financially. It’s about every youth wanting to make money, and money is what makes people elevate from their struggles to live a better life,” Tanso JOP explained.
The artiste, whose real name is Christopher Jackson, started in music as a youth in community events in Mannings Hill Road, St Andrew.
“I have been doing music from the age of six. I started performing at community events, then I was introduced to music professionally by writing songs. The first song I recorded professionally was called Exercise It. I later wrote the song
Weh Dem a Say for Mavado,” he said.
Tanso JOP has worked with a number of producers including Darshan Records, Ancient Records, Zack Ariyah Productions, and Black Spyda. A past student of the St Andrew Technical High School, his other current recordings include
War Start featuring Jahvinci, andBlack Rain.
