Mandela Highway is the main artery linking Kingston to the north, west and south sections of Jamaica.
The section between the Six Miles Interchange and the Highway 2000 on/off ramps has been operating above capacity and has been a source of delays and congestion.
It will be rehabilitated as part of the Major Infrastructure Development Programme (MIDP).
Prime Minister Andrew Holness is expected to join Warmington at tomorrow’s contract signing.
