Riverman hopes to make splash with Fly
SINGJAY Riverman is hoping to get his big breakthrough with his latest single Fly.
Produced by Tripple L Records, Fly was released in June.
He said Fly is a song aimed at inspiring its listeners.
“It’s about finding ways to elevate yourself, despite the obstacles faced in life. It is one of those songs that make you want to try harder at whatever you are hoping to achieve,” he told the Jamaica Observer, while stating he draws his inspiration from every day life happenings.
“I am hoping that the song will give me the break that I am seeking and even give me the opportunity to record an album,” he continued.
Riverman (given name Richard Garricks) emerged on the reggae scene in 2002 using the moniker Binghi Fiya. That same year, he released his debut single B.I.B.L.E. The single remained 18 weeks on the US radio charts.
In 2015, the Bull Bay native and Dunoon Technical High School changed his name to his current moniker.
His other releases include Nuh Mash it up, Chat too much and Hallelujah.
