#ReadySetRio: Today’s Olympics schedule for Jamaican athletes
RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — The final day of events for Jamaican athletes commences with an evening session where the 4X400m men and women relay teams will try to put icing on another excellent Olympic Games by medalling in the finals.
Both teams qualified by winning their respective heats yesterday.
Christine Day, Anneisha McLaughlin-Wilby, Chris-Ann Gordon, and Novelene Williams-Mills ran to 3:22.38 while the men’s team of Rusheen McDonald, Peter Mathews, Nathon Allen, and Javon Francis clocked a season’s best 2:58.29.
