The Catalyst which is committed to high quality customer service opened its door to the public in the year 2002 at a former location. The business expanded and moved to its current location in 2011.

The bookstore, a subsidiary of Northgate Enterprises believes in promoting strong family life values and does this by interfacing with various sectors within the community. The store is seen as a strategic portal to achieving this objective.

The Catalyst supplies a wide variety of items including textbooks, stationery, school bags, religious books, Jamaican authored books and other life enhancing products.

An excellent service that is offered during the back to school period is where we go into the business places, hotels etc. and have the members of staff provide us with their booklists. Catalyst Bookstore then packages the required items and delivers them to the customers place of employment.
