GO! Jamaica Travel Company, a boutique operation, was formed in 1995 in Kingston Jamaica.
CEO, Dave A. Chin Tung, with many years experience in the travel and aviation industry realized there was a need for an alternative to the major tour companies, and GO! Jamaica Travel was formed to fill this market void.
The company has contracts with many large and small independent hotels worldwide (some 118,000 properties) as well as cruise lines, car rental companies and attractions.
In the 2012 Responsible Tourism Awards, the company was awarded a “Special Commendation” by the Centre for Tourism and Public Policy of the University of The West Indies for its “Outstanding Contribution TO The Development Of Jamaica’s Tourism Product”.
In 2014, 2015 and 2016, GO! Jamaica Travel was awarded the “Caribbean’s Leading Tour Operator” in the World Travel Awards by voters in the travel industry.
Also in 2014 and 2015, the Company remained the top seller of RIU hotels in the Caribbean and is set to repeat this in 2016.
Our partnership with Moon Palace Jamaica Grande has resulted in the Company being one of the top sellers of the property booking individual guests as well as groups and conferences.
Although the company is based in Jamaica, there are travel agents in The United Kingdom, Canada, USA, The Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados and Curacao who use its services.
The Company actively uses social media in getting the word out about rates and events, and is one of the leaders in the Caribbean in this field with some 38,000+ followers on Facebook alone.
