I-Maric ready to shine
UK-based dancehall artiste I-Maric is ready to make a big splash on the local music scene.
The singjay, who is also a referee in the English FA League, is confident he has what it takes to go all the way to the top of the musical ladder.
I-Maric is currently promoting a thought-provoking single Who Feels It Knows It. It was released on the singjay’s Poor People Production imprint.
“ Who Feels It Knows is a song people all over the world can relate to. It doesn’t matter what colour you are or where you’re from, we all face our struggles in life, it’s all about survival,” he said.
I-Maric launched his recording career in 2007 with the release of Oh Mama, which was produced by TV personality Suzie Q. Since then he has recorded several other singles and performed on events in the US, the UK, and Jamaica.
Given name Phillip Dunkley, I-Maric grew up in the tough inner-city community of Payne Avenue in St Andrew. He migrated to live in the UK in 1999 where he attended the South Chelsea College.
“I know have the talent and the drive to make it big in the music business. I’ve been honing my skills for a very long time and now I’m ready to take my career to the next level,” said I-Maric.
