Peace, be still
In the wake of the passage of Hurricame Matthew, columnist Lance Neita recalls his experience during his morning devotions with his Daily Bread the day the hurricane was scheduled to hit the island. The ‘Peace, be still’ message in which Jesus spoke to the storm became real for him. He, nonetheless, says Christians must be on the horns of a dilemma after seeing the impact of the hurricane on Haiti, The Bahamas, Cuba, and parts of the United States. For how do we give thanks for our deliverance and not consider why the hurricane went elsewhere with its continuing savage onslaught? That’s on The Agenda this week.
