GraceKennedy Value Rewards issues $59 million in points
In just over a year since its launch, the GraceKennedy Value Rewards programme has issued more than $59 million in points to over 80,000 members — including rewards such as phone credit, movie tickets, Hi-Lo gift vouchers, dining at the Terra Nova Hotel and packages and passes to Jewel Runaway Bay Beach & Golf Resort.
The GK Value Rewards Programme, which was launched in February, 2015, it has been changing the face of loyalty programmes in Jamaica, with the introduction of innovative platforms designed to improve its members’ user experience. The programme offers the option to sign up using mobile devices and provides members with convenient ways of accessing their reward points, thereby allowing them to choose their own reward options.
“Gone are the days when loyalty customers had to wait for months to receive a cheque in the mail. With the GK Value Rewards Programme, members can review the number of points accumulated with a few clicks on our website,” said Tricia Martin, head of the Customer Loyalty and Engagement Division of GraceKennedy via news release.
Members can also donate their points to charity and gift points to other members, using the programme’s web portal.
The programme will soon be launching additional ways for members to access their points.
“We’re constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve the experiences our members have while interacting with the GK Value Rewards Programme. So, in a matter of weeks, our members will be able to access, donate and trade in their points, from their mobile phones. At that time we will give more details,” she noted.
The GK Value Rewards Programme rewards customers who make transactions at participating GraceKennedy subsidiaries. Members earn points when they complete transactions at Hi-Lo, Bill Express, FX Trader, GK General Insurance, and First Global Bank.
