Foster Allen to retire from public service
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health, Elaine Foster Allen a short while ago indicated that she will be retiring from the public sector within another two weeks.
She made the disclosure during this morning’s meeting of the Public Accounts Committee at Gordon House.
The longstanding civil servant was in November of last year reassigned from the Ministry of Education to the Office of the Prime Minister to replace former permanent secretary Onika Miller.
Foster-Allen has held a number of leadership positions in the public sector locally and overseas
