Orchids and Plants
As the dynamics of CASCO continue to grow and expand, they are now offering Orchids and other plants for sale. This comes as no surprise since Mrs. Clarke has a passion for gardening. In the Jamaican Magazine, Health Home & Garden her garden at home was described as;
“A gigantic almond tree that spreads over the large elevated patio at the front of the house was planted in the early years. Its wide trunk and branches now provide nesting areas for orchids and suspension for “old man’s beard” plants, which almost touch the ground. A stately cactus standing at the stairs leading to the patio has been in its place almost as long, seeming quiet comfortable in its position of eminence.
A tiled passageway to the side of the house wanders by a flowerbed filled with shy, miniature, white anthuriums and leads to the backyard, which greets you with a magnificent burst of vibrant colours. Here there is no doubt that you are in the Tropics as an entire raised area resounds with orange, red, purple and yellow orchids. A huge, antique, iron scale and an aged sugar boiling kettle (now used as a fish pond) in the midst, help to anchor the space, whilst adding interest.”
Which just gives an idea of the picturesque setting that she enjoys and she evens describes as her “tonic”. This euphoric feeling of relaxation through beautiful surroundings is now a part of what CASCO offers at their Mandeville location. A miniature greenhouse with several species of flora notably the orchids. As Mrs. Clarke would say… “to see new colours emerge can make me lose focus on time and food” enjoy nature the way CASCO wants you to, ask them about their orchids and plants for sale.
