2016 Entertainment Highlights: Watch – Trabass
The Jamaica Observer’s Entertainment Desk continues its daily Year In Review with people who made an impact during the year.
VLOGGER-CUM-MUSICIAN Trabass certainly ended the year on a high note. His eight-track EP, Trabulation, debuted at number eight on the Billboard Reggae album chart in the later part of December.
Released on December 9 via Trabass TV LLC, Trabulation is produced by Track Star Music Group. It features collaborations with Lincoln 3dot, Khaos, Sekuence, Alovich, and El Capiitan.
Born Andrew Chambers, Trabass is from Fletcher’s Land in Kingston. He migrated to Fort Lauderdale in Florida eight years ago.
He made a name for himself as a comedian with humorous skits on Trabass TV, which he started in 2009. More than 350,000 people have subscribed to his YouTube channel.
Trabass was among several acts that performed on Ghetto Splash held at Waterhouse Mini-stadium in St Andrew, recently.
