#Bestof2016: Best dressed male

The world of fashion has continuously been dominated by the “fairer sex” and men with style have sometimes been pushed to back.

However for the year 2016, Jamaican men have stepped up to the plate and shown their style and growing elegance, 2016 was the year for well tailored suits and designer shoes.

The competition for “best dressed male” of the year was undoubtedly tight, but singer and songwriter Christopher Martin took the prize for the most stylish and well dressed male.

The former Digicel Rising Stars winner has come a long way from being criticised for his fashion sense and crushed shirts to being quite impactful in the Jamaican fashion world. Martin’s style is unique and his looks are always tailored to fit, coupled with a designer pair of shoes and well done hair. He is always stylishly well put together. His look is one that transcends not only while on international tours and award shows but simply to an everyday slay. When it comes to the world of fashion, Jamaican star Christopher Martin is undeniably a big deal.

It is also important to give honourable mention to the Sub10 king Asafa Powell. Powell doesn’t only rock the track but also the hearts of women as well. This is done with his well tailored suits, eye catching shoes and even simply his every day casual look. His rock hard abs only accentuates his commendable taste and is proof that Powell is a star both on and off the track.
