Readers weigh in… #Journeyof100pounds

Check out what some readers had to say to Gareth Taylor as he continues on his #Journeyof100pounds:

PhilT McNasty: You’ll pull through, but I encourage you to change jobs. The temptation lingers in the aroma.

No white bread, rice, or dumplings for now. Juice once a week is okay.I personally am awaiting better news in the months ahead. You have the right attitude I believe you can lose a significant amount of weight with your personal will and the optimistic team that’s cheering you on to your ideal goal.In December 2013 I ended up getting sick and spent the Christmas holiday in the hospital. I was told by my doctor that if I didn’t do something fast about controlling my weight, I would not be around much longer. After getting out the hospital I decided enough was enough and I’m tired of being tired. To date I’ve lost over 250lbs and counting. Please reach out to me, I would love to be a part of this journey towards a healthier life.

Janaa Pickford: Gareth you can do this. Set realistic goals and expectations. Keep in mind that your health is at stake if you do not shed excess pounds.

Ralston Stephenson: I can personally relate to Gareth Taylor. Growing up in Jamaica I too was always a little bigger than every one else. After moving to the (United) States my weight gain really got out of control. Lucky for me I got into sports and was able to control my weight to some degree. After playing sports and graduating college, I soon got married. My weight gain again got way out of control. At my highest I weighed 515lbs. Although I was overweight, it wasn’t an issue until I started having the health problem, Gareth Taylor.

Paula Brown: Hey Gareth!! Congrats on this journey. I wish you success, and I know with the current focus and dedication you will achieve it. The weight you have lost already does show!! Keep it up!

Tencia Campbell: The greatest thing is that you took the first step. U (sic) have to keep going Gareth. U can do it. Trust me!

Marvalyn Bennett: U go Gareth u can lose 100lbs and more just stay focus and you will make it.

Steve Patrick: All the best brethren. you’ll have to discipline yourself, become conscious of what you consume, make it a lifestyle, and you’ll see some benefits. There’s no overnight trick.

Purevintagestar: You have inspired me to lose the pounds. I need to live and enjoy my life.

Nv7photo: If yuh nuh happy wid yuhself, be procactive and start making changes. God covers the things you can’t do, but yuh haffi do your part. Yuh want God give yuh long life? Stay healthy. Respec to this man who is willing to step up…many of us need fi follow suit.
