Today’s Horoscope – January 17, 2017

HAPPY BIRTHDAY for Tuesday, January 17, 2017: This year you greet many new situations. The good news is that you adjust quickly to all types of variables. You tend to find unusually strong and dynamic solutions. Some of you will buy a house or remodel. If you are single, you have an earthy quality that is heightened to new levels. The person who enters your life this fall could be significant to your life. If you are attached, you and your sweetie often feel pulled between your personal commitments and enjoying just hanging out. You could decide to make a major life change this fall that could make both of you very happy. LIBRA can be charming, but he or she is not as grounded as you’d like.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): You definitely want to be responsive to others, yet you somehow trigger controversy when trying to be supportive. At the base of what is happening is a misunderstanding. This problem easily could be attributed to the usage of a word and its different meanings. Tonight: Make nice.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Pace yourself. You might be tempted to move a personal matter in a different direction. You have a lot of ground to cover, and many errands to handle. Postpone a lengthy discussion until later; you’ll want to be relaxed for it. Tonight: Go for a walk after dinner, if possible.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20): You have great ideas, and you know how to add that extra flourish that others often lack. Be as clear as you can in a discussion. You might find someone else’s ideas even more exciting. Confirm meeting times and places. Maintain a sense of humour. Tonight: Be mischievous.

CANCER (June 21-July 22): You could feel pressured by a situation that you believe is unlikely to change. You have talked it out, and although a disagreement might emerge, you sense a good response from others. Ask for more of what you want. Continue giving someone space. Tonight: Happy at home.

LEO (July 23-Aug 22): You might be happiest proceeding exactly as you have been. However, a mix-up could occur and cause an unanticipated snafu, which is likely to take you in a different direction. Avoid a misunderstanding by confirming meeting times, places, etc. Tonight: Make yourself available.

VIRGO (Aug 23-Sept 22): Your focus is on your finances. You easily could make an error if you are not sure of yourself. If this is the case, back away and do not make a decision. Confusion surrounds communication. Double-check messages and meeting times. Tonight: Wherever you land.

LIBRA (Sept 23-Oct 22): You might see some hassles appear on the horizon, but you won’t have a problem dealing with any uproar. Confusion around communication might even make you laugh, as what occurs could be close to absurd. Go for what you want. Tonight: The world is your oyster.

SCORPIO (Oct 23-Nov 21): You might want a break from everything that is happening. Others continue to seek you out, and even if you try to avoid conversations, calls and people, no one is likely to give up. Stay centered, despite all the confusion. Save a break for another day. Tonight: Head home early.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov 22-Dec 21): A meeting intrigues you, as it presents a different perspective. You could feel as if you are getting some misinformation, and you very well might be. Ask questions, and maybe you will get a clearer perspective. Try to avoid snap judgements. Tonight: Finally time for friends.

CAPRICORN (Dec 22-Jan 19): Try as you might, you can’t seem to get rid of a problem. Some of the information you are receiving could be bogus. Listen carefully, and soon you will figure out what is really going on. Your sense of direction is excellent, but confirm meeting times. Tonight: Ask questions.

AQUARIUS (Jan 20-Feb 18): You might not be in any shape to follow through on a high-priority matter, as your mind drifts to other issues. Detach and you will gain a better perspective. Understanding takes you down a new route, though you might experience some confusion. Tonight: Get into a movie.

PISCES (Feb 19-March 20): You might have had enough of what’s been going on that you need to pull back. One person takes priority over others. As a result, those who are close to you might think you are sending mixed messages, even though you aren’t. Tonight: Accept a loved one’s suggestion.
