Sabrina Diva upbeat about You Alone
British-BORN emerging reggae singer Sabrina Diva is bringing the magic of love to the world with her latest release You Alone.
Produced by Orville “Rorey” Baker of One Pop Music, the track will be available for pre-release today. It makes its way to retailers on February 17 and will be distributed by Zojak World Wide.
“People will love the song because it’s a very modern take to a reggae love song. It’s got that dancehall sound to it that we all love, catchy melodies and very relatable lyrics. The song pretty much depicts the struggles of maintaining a relationship when I’m on the road or on tour and how important trust is,” said Sabrina Diva.
You Alone is a follow-up to the single Mash Up My Head.
Born to Jamaican parents in UK, Sabrina Diva (real name is Sabrina Pratt) said she is in-tune with her Jamaican roots.
“My parents, being born Jamaicans, passed the culture on to me. Spending years in both Jamaica and UK made singing reggae a very easy choice to make,” said the singer who is in her 20s.
“Jamaica is very much my home as UK is. I took my first steps here..many of my vital years as a child and a teen were spent here. And I relocated in 2011 and have been here since.”
Sabrina Diva got her break in 2012 with War Down Town, which was on Sly and Robbie’s Throwback album. She plans to release her debut album this year.
“I am very happy to announce that I will be releasing my first studio album later this year. And, of course, You Alone will be featured along with songs like Mash Up My Head and War Downtown.”
