Arm the police to the teeth
Dear Editor,
Based on the high level of crime in our country, all police stations in the 14 parishes of Jamaica should have at least five motor vehicles ready at hand to respond to the call of duty against this big and powerful crime monster.
Furthermore, the country needs at least 5,000 more good policemen to cover the four corners of Jamaica to engage the criminals, because it seems as if there are more illegal guns and more criminals in Jamaica than the number of cops. And it seems as though that, right now, only God can tell where so many illegal guns have come.
Now, more than ever, the police and armed forces should be armed to the teeth with all the necessary equipment to cha lenge this deadly, dangerous and barefaced crime monster, because it is doubly strong and very controlling.
