JN Bank promises new slate of services
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) has unveiled its status as JN Bank after today launching a new commercial banking brand.
JN opted to retain its signature yellow and blue signage, its mutual character, which makes all clients shareholders, and its tagline ‘We will help you find a way’.
JN Bank will now place third by total assets among the island’s now seven commercial banks, with National Commercial Bank (NCB) holding first place with close to $447 billion as at September 30, 2016, and Scotia Bank Jamaica in second with $318 billion in assets.
Assets for JN total $146 billion. Sagicor Bank follows it in fourth place with $111 billion in assets.
The new bank will also rank third place in deposit level, loan portfolio and its 34-location branch network.
Managing Director Maureen Hayden-Cater said the bank will be launching a new slate of services.
