Appleton Signature Nights back with Beres

Appleton Estate Signature Nights series returns on February 14 at Woodstock in Negril and will feature Beres Hammond in his first local performance of 2017.

A continuation of its launch in 2016, Appleton Estate Signature Nights is a sensitisation programme combining brand education and superb entertainment from some of the biggest names in Jamaica’s music scene. The campaign spreads awareness of the new label packaging of the range of Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum brands by J Wray and Nephew Limited, aligned with its global prestige.

Tamika West, marketing manager at J Wray & Nephew Limited, was thrilled to announce the continuation of the live event series.

“Appleton Estate Signature Nights offers a rich edutainment blend of Jamaica’s most treasured creations, reggae music and rum. Throughout 2016, the convivial spirit of Appleton Estate Jamaica Rum poured at the style bars: Macau Gaming Lounge & Bar, Pier 1, Italian Cafe, Kaluga Cafe, and Ocean’s 11, to the backdrop of sweet live reggae music. We are excited to bring this back to our nation’s cultural entertainment forefront with the renowned Beres Hammond.”

“It is an honour for the Grammy-nominated Mr Hammond to be performing at Woodstock, a partner of the brand, in the alluring Negril. We look forward to an exhilarating 2017 Appleton Estate Signature Nights season, so we are imploring everyone to check the press and our social media handles for details on the year to remember that we have in store for them,” West continued.

Last year, Appleton Estate Signature Nights toured the island, making stops in Kingston, Negril, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and Old Harbour. Patrons were treated to performances by live reggae royals Tarrus Riley, Chris Martin, and Romain Virgo.

The general admission for the Valentine’s Day launch of Appleton Estate Signature Nights featuring Beres Hammond is US$35 pre-sold. Food and drink inclusive VIP tickets are US$100.

Patrons to the event can also enjoy a $1,200 drink special for a Q of Appleton Estate Signature Blend and an interactive photo booth to capture memories from the first staging of the series.

Gates open at 8:00 pm with the show concluding at 1:00 am. Ticket outlets are Grab N Go Gas Station (Fairview and Savanna-la-Mar), Fontana Pharmacy (Fairview, Ocho Rios and Mandeville), Pier One, World of Sports (Negril) and Woodstock. Persons can also contact Knutsford Express for details on shuttle service to the event.
