Kapri’s Thug Love video doing the rounds
Since its release in February, Thug Love video has made its way to various television stations across the world.
The single, produced by Jetson Records/Snowcone Records, was recorded in March last year by emerging act Kapri and features Addikshan.
Kapri is pleased with the video’s reception, which was shot in New York by Nick Asenio.
“The video concept displays originality. Most of the video was shot on a white backdrop which embodies the idea of endless possibilities of love and light. Other parts of the video were shot on a dark backdrop which represents the deep dark fantasies inside the female’s mind,” said Kapri.
“My expectations for this project are limitless. I know it was going to be huge for my career from the night this song was recorded. Snowcone and Tony Kelly, who were present, were also in agreement when they heard the song and they both said to me that it was going to be massive,” said Kapri.
Kapri’s (given name Dwayne Wallace) musical journey began with Dear Mama in 2008 on a Sean Nizzle-produced-rhythm called Gully Creeper.
He has since released Bad By Myself and Dark Glass.
