Founded in 1996, Apex XRay and Ultrasound Services, recently evolved and changed our name to Apex Radiology..

Apex Radiology is a private Medical Imaging Company established in February 1996, owned and operated by a group of doctors forming Image Plus Consultants. We operate multiple modalities which include X-Ray, Ultrasound, MDCT (including Calcium scoring and Virtual Colonoscopy), Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, and Imaging guided Interventional procedures. We have always strived to be on the cutting edge of technology and as such are one of the few Radiology practices which offer 64 slice MDCT Imaging and a full range of Nuclear Medicine Procedures.

We are known for more than 20 years at our location at Apex Medical Centre in the heart of Half-Way Tree where we first opened our doors, and to date it remains the location we are most known for. Our first expansion was to the Portmore community, which we served from 2000 to 2015.

We also expanded our operations to Winchester Surgical and Medical,Institute on Winchester Road in Kingston in 2006, where we continue to operate a vibrant practice at that location. The company formed another strategic alliance last year by opening offices at 129 PRO in Liguanea.

With three locations to choose from, Apex Radiology is easily accessible being in close proximity to other health care providers and medical services. Our personnel are professionally trained and provide optimum service to our referring doctors and patients. We are also partners in Winchester MRI Limited, which adds another dimension to our dynamic, company, and so our patients have access to MRI procedures, as well, also at an affordable cost.

As we strive to make health care accessible and affordable to all, we accept most forms of payment and we partner with the major health insurance providers. We also offer discounts to senior citizens, and provide special services to Public hospital patients.

To access our services, you must first visit your doctor and after assessment, your doctor will prepare a referral form for us. The information on that form will guide us on the nature of the procedure required. Once you have this, you can call our call centre at 926-7607-9 for an appointment and other necessary information you will need.
