Gov’t to update country on flooding at press conference today
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) says the Government will, at a 4:00 pm press conference, update the country on the effects of the heavy rainfall affecting the island.
In a release a short while ago, the OPM said that prior to the press conference, Dr Horace Chang, who has assumed the duties of Prime Minister Andrew Holness while he is off the island, will meet with heads of emergency agencies at 3:00 pm to be fully briefed on the situation.
