Great vibes at Cabana Beach Daze
Cabana Beach Daze pulled in scores of patrons to the picturesque Blue Waters Beach Club in Cooper’s Pen, Trelawny, recently.
The event, hosted by Hundred Promotions, was in its second staging.
Warren Clarke of Hundred Promotions said he was pleased with the event’s growth.
“The party was a success for us. The best thing was that all that we promised, we delivered, and our patrons and sponsors are happy. The feedback has been positive and we are just happy that the production was executed without any issues for our patrons,” Clarke told Jamaica Observer.
The party vibe was fuelled by an array of food stations serving up Jamaican, Italian and Chinese dishes, and two main bars in the centre of the venue — with drink mixes courtesy of Smirnoff Vodka. DJs Nicco, Kentucky, and Chromatic guided the flow of the party expertly, combining well and taking patrons through different genres and periods in their various 30-minute segments. Soca and dancehall segments evoked the greater response from the crowd, current hits like Infrared by Vybz Kartel and Masicka, Impact by Alkaline, and Owner by Dexta Daps eliciting huge ‘forwards’ from the crowd.
We made our exit close to midnight with the party still in full swing and patrons still making their way into the venue.
