UNITED Kingdom-based producer-turned-singjay Smoodface is creating a buzz on the dancehall scene with his single Gogo .

He is currently in his homeland, Jamaica, on a promotional tour in a bid to keep the momentum going.

Self-produced on Smoodface’s Glendevon Records label, Gogo is available on all digital outlets.

“The single has been building momentum online for the past couple of months and since it has gained favour among the ladies, I decided to treat them as a part of my promotional campaign,” said Smoodface.

The artiste and his team visited various nightly events to distribute gifts to the females who showed support for the track.

“Many viral videos of these talented ladies have been circulating online and it’s a tremendous feeling to see how widely received my music is,” said Smoodface.

“Everyone who knows me knows I show appreciation to all my supporters. These females are very talented and I respect what they do. They choreograph some of the hardest dance moves and are the talents behind many hit songs in Jamaica. My music is an art, their gift of dancing is an art, and the least I can do is let them know they are seen and respected,” he continued.

Smoodface also said he will be releasing an official EP later this year, which will feature a fusion of dancehall, rap and reggae music.

“I am a multifaceted musician; I do music for all demographics. Each single I release appeals to every individual in its own way. One of my main advantages is that I am able to bring forth projects that are relatable and my supporters admire my work for that fact,” he said.

Among his latest releases are S tress Free, Mek She Scream, and Love Memory.
