Friends, I can’t believe we in July already! What a year!

The sad thing in Jamaica is that the shotta dem (23) killing (3) off people more than days in the year. It is so sad to see so much bloodshed (4) in a beautiful little (10) island in the tropics.

It was interesting to read an article recently about police (13) in Japan, a very huge (33) place, trying hard to find work to make them relevant as crimes are minimal.

Friends, I was ashamed of the behaviour of the church man (29) on the gospel radio station yesterday morning.

A woman (7) called because she has two children (11, 16) and in need of financial assistance, and the way he dismissed her on air left much to be desired. One listener apparently wrote and told him that he woke on on wrong side and he went on the defensive.

Sir, the behaviour was not Christ-like, and I felt embarrassed for you as it was clear you either got up on wrong side or pride got the better of you. I don’t think the management of that nice gospel radio station reads this column, but I hope someone will pass on info. You were crude, Sir. Just to put it mildly.

But walk good, my friend, and look out for your brothers and sister always.
