Gas prices up $0.71, diesel up $0.77
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, July 20, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $114.32 and $117.16 per litre, respectively, up by $0.71 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $106.38 per litre following an increase of $0.77, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $0.96, and will be sold for $111.76 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene increased in price by $1.79 and will be sold for $89.36 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $40.84 per litre, up by $1.18 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $46.55 per litre after an increase of $0.77.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
