Emmanuella Samuel for LOL Comedy Tour
EIGHT-year-old Nigerian social media comedienne Emmanuella Samuel will take the stage on the LOL Comedy Tour at the LIME Golf Academy in New Kingston on Emancipation Day, Tuesday, August 1. Show time is 6:00 pm.
“My uncle showed me Jamaica on the Internet and it’s really pretty, so I can’t wait to get there so that I can go to the beach,” said Samuel. “I’m a little nervous but I’m used to doing skits and shows with my uncle [Mark Angell] so I know it won’t be very hard.”
In addition to Angell, she will be joined by compatriot Denielson Igwe as well as acts such as Ity and Fancy Cat, Lemon, Leighton Smith, Christopher “Johnny” Daley, Dalton Spence, Peetah and Gramps Morgan from Morgan Heritage and Minister Marion Hall.
“We’re looking to offer Jamaicans a solid avenue for some good, wholesome family entertainment this holiday season,” said Danielia McLean, marketing manager at Tango’s Entertainment Production Ltd, organisers of the tour. “Just about everyone in Jamaica knows Emmanuella and her hilarious videos with Mark Angell and people have been looking forward to seeing her perform here in Jamaica. What’s even better is that she goes up alongside some of Jamaica’s top comedians which will certainly have people laughing out loud the entire show.”
The LOL Comedy Tour moves to Savanna-la-Mar at the Manning’s School on Saturday, August 5; Montego Bay at Pier 1 on Sunday, August 6; and May Pen on Saturday, August 12, 2017, before closing in Ocho Rios at Turtle River Park on Sunday, August 13.
