TAJ to suspend online payment system for upgrade this Friday
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) says it will be enhancing its Revenue Administration Information System (RAiS) to allow taxpayers to conduct transactions with greater security, ease and convenience.
In a statement today, the TAJ said that during the transition period, the RAiS eServices, which is an online payment portal, will be suspended for maintenance between 7:00 pm on Friday, August 4 to 7:00 am on Tuesday, August 8, the day on which the enhanced system takes effect.
To assist taxpayers with making a smooth transition to doing even more with RAiS, TAJ has developed a user guide with details of the changes, and which is available at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm under the “How To” tab.
