MONTEGO BAY, St James — The new-look Smirnoff Marco Polo party had a successful staging in Ocho Rios on Emancipation Day and the promoters are now set to end the month with a sizzling edition at Aquasol Theme Park in Montego Bay this Sunday.

“We had an awesome event in Ocho Rios with Tommy Lee, one of the most sought after dancehall artistes right now. We decided to finally go further west to MoBay, where the event has been in demand for quite a while, and so we feel now is the right time to make the move,” said Marvin Lawrence, director, Lawless Events, promoters of the party.

“The anticipation has been high and has been generating a lot of buzz since the date was announced on our social media page @MarcoPoloJamaica on Instagram,” Lawrence added.

“The feedback has been great so far; persons are looking forward to the event. We have a great entertainment package lined up. we have Ding Dong, who has been enjoying tremendous success with his dance singles, and fresh talent out of MoBay, Shane E, is booked for the party as well. To top it off we have a stellar line-up of DJs: Chromatic, Crazy Neil, Dexta Peppa, DJ Jigga and Hyperactive Sound,” Julius Morgan, another director of Lawless Events, told Jamaica Observer West.

The organisers contended that the event is a great entertainment package at an affordable cost, while urging patrons to come out early and to drink responsibly.

“The recent closure of Aquasol was an issue, but that has been sorted and the venue is open for business, and so we want to assure patrons that the event will go as advertised,” Morgan emphasised.
